Lisa McGee lives and paints in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Before retiring and moving to Florida, she worked as a pediatric SpeechPathologist. She studied at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts, and in 2006, she attended an intensive workshop in abstract paintings. It was during this workshop that she discovered a passion for the freedom and expressive possibilities of abstract art. Since then, abstract painting has become an important part of her artistic journey, allowing her to explore color, movement, and emotion in an intuitive and uninhibited way.
